Highlights of Vlora!

Transfer to Oriku, the ancient city was established during the sixth century BC. Archeological excavation that started during the 50s discovered the Acropolis, the port, stairs, the altar, the well, and the temple. Interesting fact is the houses were built inside the rocks and each house had a well.

Then transfer to Canine Castle, built in 3rd century BC overlooking the Vlora City. The castle will give you a special feeling around there. The view of the harbor is spectacular from the castle and it seemed like everything is on the palm of your hand from there. The guide will tell you few legends of this castle while you enjoy the scenery.

Next stop will be the monastery of Zvernec, an impressive object of significant cultural and religious value. Its construction is thought to have occurred between the 12th and 13th centuries and, thus, boasts an architecture that is typical of the Byzantine era. To reach the monastery, you follow the charming bridge that, stretching over the water, connect the island with land. After visit the monastery you will experience fishing with Zvernec Fishermen’s in a small boat around the cost of Zvernec and you will taste the fish you catch in a restaurant next to the sea.
